You are your best thing.

About me
I am first and foremost a client-centered therapist which is just a fancy way of saying that it’s all about you! You are your best resource and it’s my job to help you heal and grow in the directions that you want to go. I use an eclectic approach that pulls from existential and humanistic therapy, trauma-informed care and employs cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) tools.
The questions of the human condition drive me. What does it mean to be alive? What makes us tick, motivates us, discourages us, connects us, works against us? All of it! I spent my early years in Los Angeles working as an editor in the television industry. That work inspired me to return to school to earn a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Trauma Specialization from Pacific Oaks College. The shift to interacting directly with clients, helping people connect to themselves and make sense of their own stories has been thrilling and meaningful. I am honored to do what I do! In my free time, I hike the hills of Los Angeles, enjoy my family and friends, take writing classes and clean my house. That’s right I love to clean - I get it from my dad!
